Cheerleaders rooted for friends and family at the TinCaps stadium as Fort4Fitness wrapped up Saturday. As runners crossed the finish line, supporters cheered and celebrated. Viewers took in the activities at Parkview Field with a livestream provided by the Fort Wayne TinCaps.

Prom in the City Returns for Second Year at Parkview Field
High schools student are cordially invited to a one of a kind Prom. Prom in the City was an event created last year after area high schools canceled prom due to COVID-19. Last year nearly 300 hundred students from across the city came together to dance the night away. Some students came as far away as Indianapolis to attend the event. The prom will be held June 25 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Parkview Field.

Parkview Field Opens Gates to Public for Daily Hours, Splash Pads Turned on for Kids
For the first time since March 2020, Parkview Field will be opening its gates to the public on a daily basis. Parkview Field announced that as of Tuesday, the home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps is back to welcoming walkers, runners and more.

Trinity English Lutheran Church Hosts Easter Service at Parkview Field
Trinity English Lutheran Church hosted its Easter service at Parkview Field Sunday morning. “We had church in a baseball stadium!” said Gary Erdos, the senior pastor at Trinity English Lutheran Church. “What a great, spectacularly beautiful day.” The service drew in a crowd of about 1,100 people. According to Erdos, Trinity English Luthern’s church, can only hold 900 people at full capacity. This was the first time Erdos had to opportunity to deliver a service in front of live people in over a year.

Parkview Field's 400 Club & The Summit Featured
The TinCaps' Tuthill 400 Club, a group seating area located 400 feet from home plate, gives fans the opportunity to watch a game from behind the center-field batter's eye. This unique location was made possible via the installation of a 75-foot wall of shaded windows built directly atop the outfield wall. Three years later, the Class A San Diego affiliate unveiled The Summit. Located directly above the Tuthill 400 Club, the Summit is an outdoor group area that provides yet another unforgettable center-field vantage point.

TinCaps' Fans Miss Baseball Experience
For the first time in nearly three decades, there is no professional baseball in Fort Wayne.The city had minor league baseball every year since the Fort Wayne Wizards opened in the Midwest League in 1993. After the team moved downtown and rebranded as the TinCaps more than a decade ago, it became one of the best draws in MiLB.<br>This year, those fans who pack the stadium on warm summer nights – drinking cheap beer on Thirsty Thursdays, buying theme-night jerseys, posing for photos with mascot Johnny TinCap and staying for postgame fireworks shows – have missed the baseball experience.
