Change to “Tenderloins” proves delicious at Parkview Field
Thursday through Sunday, the team wore special jerseys and hats as the Hoosier State Tenderloins, a tribute to the state’s unofficial favorite sandwich. Not only did the team wear the unique uniforms, but the center-field concourse featured carnival games and concession stands are offering tenderloin sandwiches. For every sandwich sold, Indiana Pork, the presenting sponsor of the weekend, donated a meal of ground pork to the Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana.

TinCaps, PNC Bank Going to Bat for Small Business
The Fort Wayne TinCaps announced the “Going To Bat for Small Business” program in collaboration with PNC Bank. The inaugural program will provide an opportunity for small businesses to be selected from a pool of peers for their business accomplishments and positive community impact in northern Indiana. TinCaps Host “Heartland Seminar” for Minor League Baseball Teams
The Fort Wayne TinCaps, the High-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, are hosting the “Heartland Seminar” presented by Neoti and AVI at Parkview Field. The two-day Heartland Seminar brings together approximately 100 front office staff members from 18 Minor League Baseball teams for idea-sharing and networking. Attendees represent eight states, across the Triple-A, Double-A, and High-A levels. This regional summit helps teams generate ideas and tools to prepare for the 2023 season and beyond. Clubs are in attendance not only from Indiana, but also Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Tennessee.
