The Fort Wayne TinCaps are adding a new group seating area atop the Tuthill 400 Club behind the center-field fence at Parkview Field. The new section will be called The Summit and will be a deck located on top of the existing 400 Club.

TinCaps Unveil Plans for Additional Seating on Top Tuthill 400 Club

The Fort Wayne TinCaps announced on Thursday that they will be adding additional seating on top of Parkview Field's Tuthill 400 Club. This new section, also presented by Tuthill, will be called "The Summit", which is fitting for both its placement on top of existing seating and also as a homage to The Summit City.

Minor League Baseball's top-rated ballpark is about to get even better. The Fort Wayne TinCaps announced at a press conference on Thursday that the team is set to add a group seating area atop Parkview Field's Tuthill 400 Club. The new section will be called "The Summit" and will be presented by Tuthill.

Mayoral Candidate Speaks at Parkview Field

Mayoral candidate Mitch Harper spoke at Monday’s Rotary Club meeting in Fort Wayne. The Republican candidate’s address came one week after Mayor Tom Henry spoke at the meeting. The Rotary Club is made up of 150 business and community leaders. Election candidates were invited to speak at its weekly meeting held at Parkview Field.

Record Number of Former TinCaps, Wizards in Majors in 2015

A record number of former Fort Wayne Wizards and TinCaps played in the big leagues in 2015. During the regular season, 54 Fort Wayne alums were on major league rosters, as the total number of Fort Wayne alums ever to have appeared in Major League Baseball rose to 144.

"Walk to End Alzheimer's" at Parkview Field

Some in the Fort Wayne community put on their walking shoes for the annual Alzheimer’s Association walk Saturday. More than 1,500 people of all ages took part in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” walk at Parkview Field.
